I heard a report on the radio this morning (970 AM The Apple) which said lawmakers were about to sign into law the extension of unemployment benefits for get this, up to 99 weeks. I know it’s tough out there and people are hurting but this is just enabling. Some people have already been collecting unemployment for 2 years. 99 weeks? How is that motivating people to go out and look for jobs?

Idea sucks, next! This was my idea 15 years ago, build a wall along the border forget a fence, getting past a fence is something you learn as a kid. On top of the wall there will be armed guards. Twenty yards before the wall will be signs in English, Spanish and Mexican that warn if you pass this point you will be shot. I think that would cut down on most if not all illegal immigration from the southern border. You think people got wound up over health-care, wait until this immigration reform comes front and center.

Driving to work this morning I heard the 2010 Census commercial on the radio. It says it needs us to fill it out so the government knows what roads exist and which ones need to be fixed. Hahahahahaha, what a bunch of assholes. You are telling me the almighty, all-knowing government doesn’t know what roads are where? We can send men to the moon but can’t keep track of roads that have potholes? Nah, this is about entitlements and who gets to waste taxpayers money. Like I said earlier to Winnie Mandela, it’s always about the money.
