Inmate Voting-I was reading an article in the Seattle Times about a federal appeals court decision that would allow Washington State felons to vote from prison. This to me is absurd. Why should someone who has no regard for the law and in some cases human life be allowed to vote? Those incarcerated do not contribute to society in a positive manner and cost the taxpayers hundreds of millions of dollars each year.

Education Schemes Don’t Work-Whatever clever name politicians give to the various programs like No Child Left Behind or the latest one Race To The Top aimed at providing our children with a better education they all seem to fall short and work against our kids. Throwing money at the problem is not the answer. How about we go back to good old fashioned teaching like when you and I were in school? Why does everything have to be a scheme?  I bring this up because an ex-principal faked attendance so his school would get more federal aid. Imagine having to entice schools with money to get students to actually show up. How about holding the parents accountable. I know the word accountable is a dirty, non-pc word but F**K the pc’ers.  When pay raises and bonus money is offered to teachers whose students reach certain goals do you think it will be on the up and up? C’mon people we’re smart we need to figure this out.

New Perspective On Traditional Values-Is the title of an art exhibit that is on display in the Hawaii State Capitol building. The photographs are of gay and lesbian couples. Aren’t lesbians gay? So why not just call them gay, why do they have to get their own title?  Lawmakers will have to walk past the exhibit as they cast their votes on the civil unions bill, coincidence? Will the gay community ever accept a court’s decision or will they continue to kick and scream until they get their way? Call me whatever you want but homosexuality will never be a traditional value for me and my family. Since when did ‘lifestyles’ become values? The same Hawaii State Capitol building last week ordered the removal of 300 drawings, paintings and poems made by public school students that express their concerns about Furlough Fridays. According to Hawaii it’s okay to be worried about gay rights but students can’t show their concerns about their education.

Women’s Groups-Why do they hate women who are pro-life? They are so outraged at the Tim Tebow Super Bowl commercial because it celebrates his mother’s decision not to have an abortion. I wonder what their stance would be if say Ms. Tebow had aborted her son and made a commercial about killing her unborn child? Would they say the commercial is fine because it promotes choice? Why in the case of making a choice for life is it wrong? By the way I am pro choice and see nothing wrong with this ad although I don’t like to see any political ad or issue related ads during the Super Bowl. The ads should be beer, women in lingerie, cars, electronics, women dancing, beer, women drinking beer from a keg and more women in lingerie and beer ads. This is the Super Bowl, it’s football not a political debate.

If This Doesn’t Work-We will be screwed. I am talking about green jobs. You can read stories in every state across the U.S. about how billions of dollars are being spent or set aside for the creation of green jobs. All I am saying is those people who are pushing this and responsible for the allocation of funding these projects better be damn sure this is going to work. America can’t afford not to get a return on these investments especially with the return we are getting from all the bailouts. Yes Mr. President that includes AIG, Fannie/Freddie and last but not least the car companies.

Get On With It-Abdulhakim Muhammad accused of killing a soldier in Arkansas last year wants to change his plea to guilty. He told the judge he is part of a Yemen-based affiliate of al-Qaeda. Here is some of what this America-hating murderer said in a letter:

“a Jihadi attack”

“I wasn’t insane or post traumatic nor was I forced to do this Act,”

“justified according to Islamic Laws and the Islamic Religion. Jihad — to fight those who wage war on Islam and Muslims.”

Let’s oblige this guy and make him dead already. No reason to waste anymore taxpayer money on this terrorist.

GPS-Oklahoma has become only the 4th state to pass a law that would require sex-offenders to wear lifetime electronic monitoring systems. It seems we have to keep making new laws to protect against these sexual deviants. Stop wasting time I have a solution. Send all sex-criminals, deviants and offenders to Guantanamo Bay. Let them co-exist with the terrorists. Who is worse, would make a good poll. Terrorists who commit atrocities or sex-offenders who commit heinous acts usually against children.

With Friends Like This-Sexual deviant and former NY Gov. Eliot Spitzer has endorsed Gov. David Paterson. I guess they have this in common, they both cheated on their wives. Who will endorse Paterson next, Tiger Woods or John Edwards? On the Spitzer sock thing, why would he wear socks he didn’t even wear rubbers.
