Junkies In Washington On Spending Binge

December 15th, 2009 · No Comments

2nd round of stimulus is being planned by the President so that can save or create ‘construction jobs’ to build bridges, roads and schools. Correct me if I am wrong but wasn’t that what the 1st stimulus was for? Where the hell are all these new and improved bridges and roads?

Obama and Timmy G are so proud that the American people are actually making money on bailed out banks to the tune of $19 billion. What they didn’t say was we will lose $30 billion on the auto bailouts. No Harvard math needed here it’s straight adding and subtracting. 30-19=11 billion as in net loss to American taxpayers. If you listen to Timmy G,  losing $30 billion is not that bad compared to the original figure of $44 billion. I would say Tim is a horrible investor and should be fired. Who gets to lose $11 billion and keep his job? I say that to make things square every taxpayer get a free car from these deadbeat car companies. It’s only fair.

Cash for caulkers? Is he serious? Better read the fine print because with the clunker program many had to pay taxes on those rebates. You see, either way they get you.

Unemployment is 10%-17% and the Federal government gave it’s employees wait, those people are our employees, they received a 2% raise. Democrats who control the whole thing may raise the debt ceiling by $1.8 trillion. What ceiling? All they keep doing is spending and raising. Obama’s plan to bankrupt America is on the fast-track.

Obama’s  mortgage plan only helped 31,000 homeowners. Millions of Americans are facing problems with their mortgages.

Sen. Baucus gave his girlfriend a $14,000 raise on the taxpayer. On the bright side the sex didn’t cost as much as Tiger’s did.

Federal employees that make $100,000 or more has risen from 14% to 19% during first 18 months of greatest recession since the Great Depression. The Transportation Dept. had 1 employee making over $170,000 when the recession first started. According to a report by USA Today, 1,690 Transportation Dept. employees now make over $170,000. Absolutely mind-numbing.

The Omnibus Bill contains over 5000 earmarks with a cost to you and me of about $3.9 billion.

CBO: U.S. already $292 billion in the red for new fiscal year. The government spent $292 billion more than it took in during October and November.

The $787 billion stimulus package that Obama was in such a hurry to get passed has done nothing but be a coffer for fat cats in government.

The American taxpayers need to demand and deserve a full accounting of every penny of the TARP funds and the Stimulus package. President Obama needs to hold the car companies accountable just like he is making the banks accountable. You know we gave taxpayer money to the car companies and the unions too. Can’t forget them in all this.

The government needs to look at how the private sector is handling this crisis and take notes. These are very tough times and in my opinion are going to get worse. Small business is hurting more than Washington knows. They are shutting their doors at high rates throughout the country. Private sector companies don’t have the luxury of tapping into a ’stimulus’ fund to help them through these difficult times. Matter of fact their lending partners the banks are not lending money.

Private companies are not raising their expenditures, they are slashing them. They are not giving out raises, they are implementing salary freezes. They are not adding staff they are letting people go. All opposite of what the government is doing. See, the government doesn’t care if it makes a profit or not it doesn’t report to shareholders or board members. The government has never ending pockets, it’s just their pockets are actually our pockets.

Call your representatives and tell them STOP spending money we don’t have.
