Game Of The Week-San Diego @ Denver. This is a battle for first place in the AFC West as both teams come into this game at 6-3. The two teams are coming into this match-up from different directions with the Chargers winning 4 in a row and the Broncos losing their last 3. Denver’s last win came at San Diego 34-23. Kyle Orton is hurting and the defense has been exposed plus the Chargers are on a roll. Chargers  31-17.

Game For The Weak-Cleveland @ Detroit. 2 wins between them, enough said.

Upset Special-Since I have started picking the upset of the week I am 4-1. This week I am going against the team I picked last week as my upset special. The Raiders over the Bengals. This is a let down game for Cincy as they travel 1/2 way across the country after a huge road win and sweep of the Steelers. Remember the Raiders put a beaten on the Eagles earlier this year and I see the Bengals getting caught asleep at the wheel. Raiders 24-20.

In The Huddle-Aaron Rodgers at home against the 49ers who allow 248 passing yards per game. Look for Rodgers to have 320 yards 3 scores and 1 INT. Maurice Jones-Drew should have 200 yards rushing and 3 scores against a Bills team that ranks last in the league verse the rush allowing 173 yards per game. Rashaad Mendenhall will bounce back nicely here against the Chiefs, 140 yards and 1-2 scores. Megatron,Big Play Andre Johnson and Santonio Holmes all should have big days with over 100 yards receiving and at least 1 score each.

On The Pine-Marion Barber really hasn’t been himself all season whether it be these nagging injuries or the Cowboys desire to mix in Felix Jones and Tashard Choice not allowing MBIII to get in any flow. I know the Redskins are in the bottom third against the rush but Barber is not being used properly. Joseph Addai has put together a very nice season and should only start this week if you don’t have an alternative as he goes up against the Ravens.

Now Or Never-Kevin Smith has not done much but to his defense his team stinks and usually plays from behind and the Lions schedule has not been kind. Smith and the Lions host the Browns who may be the leagues worst team if he can’t produce a 100 yard effort here then he never will. Greg Jennings has had a disappointing season so far and this would be a great spot to turn it around. The 49ers are one of the worst pass defenses in the NFL so Mr. Jennings its now or never. Brandon Jacobs is now the main guy again in New York and anything less than 140 yards and 2 scores against a Falcons defense that yields 130 rushing ypg is unacceptable.
