Dress Down-The Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina has placed a ban on suits, jackets and neckties. The move is being made to help minimize the need for air conditioning. Bangladesh has been suffering power shortages and blackouts being incapable of meeting demand. I applaud this move as I detest putting my suit and tie on each day.

Insane-A newborn baby boy who had a strong heartbeat and described by a midwife as a ‘little fighter’ was left to die by doctors because he was born 2 days early according to National guidelines. The infant lived for almost 2 hours on his own without any medical support. She begged one of the doctors:

‘You have got to help’, only for the man to respond: ‘No we don’t.’

This is what happens when a government controls your health-care. This story is beyond disgraceful.

Distorted News Network-No wonder the public’s trust of the media is at a 20 year low. CNN conducted a poll after President Obama’s health-care reform speech to a joint session of Congress last week and showed a 14-point gain. The CNN poll was conducted before and after the speech, 427 people participated in the poll and the margin of error is plus/minus 5. What a shock, the sample was 45% Democrat and just 18% Republican. It’s no wonder CNN is always at the bottom in the ratings.

Take A Stand!-The taxpayer 912 rally took Washington by surprise. The Obama Ad-Agencies formerly known as news providers suggest that thousands showed up when it was closer to 2 million. It was the biggest rally against President Obama since he took office. Since the left can’t deal with the fact that Americans of all political ilk not just conservatives are sick and tired of government waste they play the race card. They are conveying the message that these rallies are racially motivated. Good thing only the most far left nut-jobs and their relatives watch them.

Suicide-Rod Blagojevich’s chief fundraiser Christopher Kelly died Saturday morning. Police are not ruling out suicide as drugs were found in his vehicle. He was supposed to report to prison that day to start serving time for tax fraud. Guess he wasn’t down with that. This guy was a true politician to the end, offs himself over the weekend to limit news coverage.

If You’re Happy And You Know It-you are down in the dumps because you don’t like what direction President Obama is trying take America just think how bad the French have it. Snow White’s 8th dwarf Nicolas Sarkozy believes that happiness should be incorporated into GDP. Loon is what comes to mind.

Shut Em Down!-ACORN’s response to the “Pimp & Prostitute” videos from spokesman Scott Levenson is:

“What this is is a hit piece,” Levenson said. “This is a doctored tape, an edited tape. What ACORN has a 15-step process that is required to get a loan. These people didn’t get a loan, they didn’t fill out an application to for a loan.”

Population Control-According to research by the London School of Economics, contraception is the cheapest way to combat climate change. They argue that total emissions depend on total emitters. Roger Martin the chairman of the Optimum Population Trust said “the carbon tonage can’t shoot down as we want, while the population keeps shooting up.” I’m sorry but any type of population control bothers me. So for fun before I finished writing here I checked the OPT website. Mr. Martin has some very alarming things to say, here’s a sample:

“We desperately need to remember that future population growth is not a ‘fact’ to be passively accepted but something over which we have control, and that limiting it could therefore play a major role in curbing emissions.** Tragically, the green movement has chosen to forget this. With the help of eminent individuals such as James Lovelock, we will do our best to remind them.”

See where Mr. Martin says he has control of future populations and limiting it. Who is he, GOD? The website states that family planning groups in poorer countries be seen as legitmate candidates for climate change funding. In other words they want countries like the United States to fund abortions in poorer countries. And funding these abortions may come from the old carbon tax on us evil emitters. My joke about getting taxed on the air we breathe is getting less funny as more stories like this emerge.
