Reading Is Fun-Unless you have to read Bills that will have a great impact on so many peoples lives.  House Judiciary Chairman, John Conyers (D-MI) had this to say:

“What good is reading the bill if it’s a thousand pages and you don’t have two days and two lawyers to find out what it means after you read the bill?”

Someone please tell Mr. Conyers that part of his job is to read the bills that he votes on.  If he can’t do the job he should resign as should any other member of Congress or the Senate.  See the entire video response at CNS News.

Ratings Tank-What will President Obama do to halt his plummeting ratings?  He will go back to what he does best, bash and blame George W. Bush. Obama is played out already and it’s only 7 months in to his Presidency. Obama is no longer cool.  You don’t see too many Obama Hope and Change bumper stickers any more. 

Lesbian Palin Fantasy?-Is the only thing I can think of when it comes to NY Times writer Maureen Dowd’s obsession with Sarah Palin.  Who pays this much attention to someone without having a secret crush on them?  Ms. Dowd’s most recent column says that Palin is now a whiny presidential candidate like Hillary Clinton used to be.  She goes on to say that Palin complains about being under a sharper microscope.  Ms. Dowd fails to mention that Gov. Palin’s children were getting attacked.  Don’t remember Chelsea being the punch line in sexual jokes. 

What The Hell-The state of Arizona is thinking about selling state owned buildings because they need the money?  California is thinking about legalizing marijuana because they need the money?  California and other poorly run states will release prisoners from jails because they need the money?  Elected officials want to pass a bill that will give illegal aliens free health care?  This is like the twilight zone.

Stimulus Jobs?-In Oregon Democrats are taking credit for creating over 3,000 jobs during the 1st three months of the jobs program.  According to the AP, those jobs lasted about 35 hours or 1 week.  Peter Courtney, Oregon’s Senate President said this: “Sometimes some work for an individual is better than no work”.  I guess all Democrats take those special math classes.  It’s the math that Obama took where he comes up with having created 150,000 new jobs that can’t be verified.  Maybe it’s all those jobs Obama has given to former journalists now on his staff.  Could also be all those Czar’s he appointed.

Homeless Worse Than Illegals?-NYC’s Mayor Bloomberg designed a plan that gives homeless people a 1 way plane ticket out of New York City.  To date 550 families have left and none have returned.  To qualify all one needs is a relative to take you in.  Why can’t we give 1 way tickets to illegal aliens back to where they came from?  Should illegal aliens receive better treatment than homeless people who are actually citizens?

Beer Fest-Obama invited Prof. Gates and Sgt. Crowley to the White House for a beer to discuss how ‘stupidly’ both Obama and the Prof. acted recently.  Obama rushed to judgement and the Professor cried wolf.  How come the good Samaritan, Lucia Whalen was not invited?  She made the 911 call.  What about the  concerned elderly woman?  Does Obama have a problem drinking beer with women?
