Hi, my name is the United States Of America and I am an oil-aholic but thats a story for another day.  I am a bad country. I have done horrible things and want to repent.  I am here today to say I am sorry for being America.

I apologize for ever wanting to be a free nation, ruled by the people for the people. What was I thinking?  I apologize for the courageous acts by the Founders, for if it were not for them I would never have been born.  I apologize for wanting to be a free society where all men are created equal.

I apologize for getting involved in WWII and defeating the Nazi’s and Imperial Japan.  I apologize for defending and promoting democracy around the globe.  I apologize for liberating  millions of people from the rule of Tyranny and Dictators.  I apologize for trying to defeat Terrorism and keep the world safe.  I apologize for waterboarding Terrorists who want to kill my citizens and hate their way of life. 

I apologize for feeding a large portion of the worlds population.  I apologize for my generosity to other nations, friend and foe.  I apologize for being the freest nation on gods green earth.  I apologize for sending man to the moon. I apologize for being responsible for the many technological advances across all industries that all countries enjoy.

I apologize for beings mans best hope and beacon of light.
